Summer Reading

Summer Reading

What are you reading this summer?

Check out some of the lists from Ms. Quinn and other great resources for a cool summer read!

It's not too early to start reading the books from the 2025 Montgomery County Reading Olympics list, either!

Be sure to talk to librarians at the Union Library of Hatborough and the Horsham Township Library, too, for some great recommendations!

How Do I . . .

KV Library's Makerspace

Students create and design in the KV library's makerspace utilizing a LEGO design wall, K’Nex engineering, LittleBits circuitry, textile-based designing and sewing, EV3 coding, Glowforge laser cutting, and both 3D and vinyl designing and printing/cutting.

KV Library Staff

Ms. Quinn is the KV librarian.

How will she help me?

Ms. Quinn selects the books and online resources for you and the other students at KV.  She teaches the research classes and gives booktalks (tells about the new books).  If you need help with an assignment or a project, talk to Ms. Quinn:  she can schedule time in the morning, during lunch, or after school to help you.

If there is a great book that you know about, or you have an idea about something fun to do in the library, you should tell Ms. Quinn (she's the one who plans all the contests and events, and buys the books for everyone to read).

Ms. Quinn will teach you how to use the Makerspace equipment.  Be sure to ask her how you can become a Master-Level Maker!

Mrs. Salters is the KV library assistant.

How will she help me?

Mrs. Salters will help you find and check out your books. She's an avid reader who enjoys talking with students about book choices, too! An accomplished maker herself, she can help you with the Makerspace, and guide you on your way to becoming a Master-Level Maker!
