Keith Valley Middle School Library: Argumentative Writing

Start your assignments in your school library with these great resources!

Getting Started on Your Project

Begin with the information from your teacher.

You may want to start looking for information using websites or databases on this screen. The databases need passwords when you are not at school, so remember your MASCOT to open the password file on this screen.

Consider any websites you find on your own carefully. Search with SweetSearch (right column), and use the Website Credibility Checklist also found in the right column of this screen. If you need to use Google, use search strategies like those in the right column (Google Search Tricks).

You may want to look at the Research Refresher page to guide you through your work.

Don't forget to cite your sources of information. There is a link to MyBib down the right column on this screen.
